INDIA: DPDP & CERT-IN

Indian requirements. Global security discipline.

SecureC helps organizations organize the people, processes, evidence and technical work needed to respond to India’s evolving privacy and cybersecurity expectations—and connect them with global frameworks.

WORKSTREAMS

What the work consists of

These workstreams run in parallel. Which of them apply to you, and to what extent, is a question for your counsel and your data map—not for a website.
  • Personal-data inventory and processing context
  • Notice, consent and rights-process documentation where applicable
  • Security safeguards and access controls
  • Incident identification and escalation
  • Logging, time synchronization and retention alignment
  • Vendor and processor records
  • Audit evidence and corrective actions
  • CERT-In directions and published guidance review

INDIA TO WORLD

One program, not two

Organizations do not need two disconnected programs. A common-control model can connect Indian obligations with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and customer requirements while maintaining each obligation’s legal context.

QUESTIONS

Common questions

Is CERT-In readiness the same as DPDP compliance?

No. Incident and cybersecurity readiness does not replace privacy obligations such as lawful processing, notices, consent or rights handling where applicable.

Can SecureC provide legal advice?

No. SecureC can support security and compliance operations. Legal interpretations should be confirmed with qualified counsel.
